The solar kiln is currently being used to dry Oregon black walnut slabs and top quality Western red cedar. When the walnut is ready, it will be inventoried and photographed; then sticker-stacked at the warehouse. The cedar is a custom order for a client. A Rocky Mountain Dry special order can take 4-5 weeks, including bringing in the lumber and preparing it for use in Colorado's dry climate.
